The Animoto Videos app is way-cool. Their slogan is “the end of slideshows”. Before I used the app I was a little confused as to what exactly that meant. Now having used it, I understand it to mean “all other slideshow apps can bow down because your $@%# is weak!”. The premise is you can create a slideshow of up to 16 photos right from your iPhone photo library. Now that’s cool and all but from the start I imagine something boring when I think “slideshow”. Animoto takes the slideshow to a whole new level though. The gallery below doesn’t really do it justice. It simply outlines the process of creating a gallery. Comic Touch is a fun app for the entire family. I was immediately sold on it when I saw that you could put the same type of effects found in OSX’s Photo Booth onto photos you’ve taken with your iPhone. To top it off you can also add your own comic style captions, speech, thought, whisper, and exclamation bubbles. Once your creation is complete you can save it to your photo library or email it. It would be hard to go wrong purchasing this app.
